Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
First saw this yesterday and thought it strange that it hadn't been made known more widely, but has this morning been confirmed by the West Ham Met Police liaison guy on Twitter.

https://www.lyonmag.com/article/122136/ligue-europa-la-venue-des-supporters-de-west-ham-encadree-a-lyon-pour-eviter-les-debordements

Basically Lyon police will only be allowing West Ham fans holding away ticket access to the ground on Thursday.

The thing we are forgetting about Barcalona is that they are not through yet!

I'm heading out with my family (missus and 3 boys). No tickets and not gonna bother trying to get in the home end, just fancied a roadtrip to Lyon and planning to set ourselves up in a boozer in the city. If they shut the pubs then that's a right cunt in the bastard!

Also seemingly had mine cancelled with no e-mail or refund as yet.

Just logged back into the account, and no tickets available anymore.

A good mate of mine got out to Lyon on Monday, just posted on social media that the police are trying to close all the pubs on Wednesday and Thursday because the Lyon ultras are threatening violence. Can’t see how they would do that, but that was what he’s been told by the owner of one of the pubs there.

Mine have been put back up for resale on the OL website. Had no email telling me they've been cancelled either.

My friend a sheep farmer told me, when the sheep stay together, its easy for his dogs to round them up,he said if the sheep keep moving around in small groups, its so hard to get them into the pens..He likes them together so he can kettle them into the pens or barns

Trouble with Barca is will we bloody get there?
I was much more confident before the first leg, it's all gone a bit pear shaped, but obviously still 100% possible!

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
I am sure Barca will be no problem. I guess you shouldn't expect things not to change, but I've been there to see Celtic (twice), Liverpool and Man City in the Camp Nou. Didn't see any British being turned away. It's quite a few years ago now, but Celtic was especially impressive, as their supporters were everywhere in the ground with Celtic shirts on and most were well pissed up.
Funny as well, one on getting to his seat, stood there surveying the stadium and said loudly to his mate, "What a shit ground". Another was was happy as Larry with two of the biggest beers available, one in each hand. I said to him, "you know it doesn't have alcohol". All grounds in Spain sell non-alcoholic beer. He looked at me and said "They've got beer" and raised his to large beers to show me. I said "yeh, but it doesn't have alcohol". He said, "No just back there, they're selling beer!". I gave up.

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
I reckon Barca would be ok. The Spanish generally seem to be more relaxed than say the French or Belgians. But like I said, I certainly don’t blame fans for chancing their luck.
